<p>"The European Charlemagne Youth Prize" aims to encourage the
development of European consciousness among young people, as well
as their participation in European integration projects. The Prize
is awarded to projects undertaken by young people which foster
understanding, promote the development of a shared sense of
European identity, and offer practical examples of Europeans living
together as one community. Yc3 is of course one of the

<p>Your contribution to the "Youth on Move" Quick Survey was of a

December 1.</p>

<p>Addressing the CoR Plenary Session, Mr Barroso congratulated on
the considerable work the CoR has already done in monitoring the
Europe 2020 Strategy. He declared that "(…) the Commission will
carefully consider the whole of your first monitoring report on the
Europe 2020 Strategy, and will take your contribution into account
as we continue its implementation." The Committee of the Regions is
committed to monitoring the implementation of Europe 2020 on the
ground and will continue with successive editions of the Report,
every December, in the coming years.</p>

<p>The Europe 2020 Monitoring Platform team, in cooperation with
the Platform's political coordinators, is currently planning
actions for 2011 in view of the 2nd Monitoring Report (December
2011), about which you will be updated soon.</p>
